Our journey began with the Mary Undoer of Knots Ministry Corp., a Catholic charity dedicated to strengthening our community. Our initial work focused on providing essential services like adult literacy programs, ESL classes, after-school tutoring, and even a chess club.

Through our work with local youth in these programs, we identified a critical need. We realized that for many of these incredible kids, the path to a successful future required more than just academic support—it required a tangible, rewarding trade. We wanted to give them a skill that was easy to learn, offered real growth potential, and could empower them to build something of their own.

From that realization, Joe in the Dirt was born.
